Your tour starts early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Hurghada, then transfer to Hurghada Airport for your domestic flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet your private Egyptologist guide and begin your visit to the Giza Pyramids, where you will see the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the Great Sphinx. After that, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to the Egyptian Museum to explore ancient Egyptian treasures, statues, and royal artifacts. If time allows, visit Khan El Khalili Bazaar for a short walk through Cairo's famous historic market. At the end of the tour, transfer to Cairo Airport for your return flight to Hurghada, then transfer back to your hotel.

How long is the flight from Hurghada to Cairo?
The domestic flight takes about 1 hour each way. Flying instead of driving saves you around 10 hours of road time, which means far more time at the pyramids and museums and a much more comfortable day.
How long does the whole day trip last?
The trip lasts around 14–16 hours in total. Pickup from your hotel is very early (usually 3:00–5:00 AM) to catch the morning flight, and you return to Hurghada in the evening on the same day.
Which sites will I visit in Cairo?
The classic itinerary includes the Pyramids of Giza, the Great Sphinx, and a panoramic viewpoint of the whole plateau, plus the Egyptian Museum or the Grand Egyptian Museum. Some packages also add Khan El Khalili bazaar or Old Cairo depending on time.
What is included in the price?
The trip includes hotel pickup and drop-off, return domestic flight tickets, airport transfers in Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle, a licensed Egyptologist guide, entrance fees to the listed sites, and lunch at a local restaurant. Can I go inside the pyramids?
Yes, but the ticket to enter a pyramid's inner chamber is purchased separately at the site. The passage is narrow, steep, and warm, so it isn't recommended for anyone with claustrophobia, back problems, or breathing difficulties.
Do I need my passport for the trip?
Yes. You must bring your original passport for the domestic flight — a copy or photo is not accepted at airport check-in. Make sure your Egyptian entry visa or stamp is valid for the day of travel.
Do I need a visa or an extra permit?
No extra permit is needed for a domestic flight. You only need your valid passport and the Egyptian entry visa you already received on arrival. If you entered on a Sinai-only stamp, you'll need a full Egyptian visa — ask us before booking.
Is the trip suitable for children and older travelers?
Yes. Flying makes it far easier than the long road trip, and the pace is manageable for families. Keep in mind the very early start and the walking at Giza in the sun. A private tour is a good option for a slower, more flexible pace.
Can I ride a camel at the pyramids?
Yes, camel and horse rides are available at the Giza plateau as an optional extra paid on site. Your guide can help you arrange a fair price and a safe operator.
What should I bring and wear?
Bring your passport, light comfortable clothes, closed walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and cash for tips, drinks, souvenirs, and optional tickets. Modest clothing is appreciated at religious sites in Old Cairo.
What happens if the flight is delayed or cancelled?
If the airline cancels or reschedules the flight, we move your trip to the next available date or issue a full refund. In the case of a short delay, the itinerary is adjusted so you still see the main highlights.
