Q: Is there a dress code for visiting the mosques and churches?
A: Yes, modest dress is required as these are active places of worship. Both men and women should wear clothing that covers their shoulders and knees (no shorts or sleeveless shirts). Women may be asked to cover their hair when entering mosques, so bringing a light scarf is highly recommended. You will also need to remove your shoes before entering the carpeted areas of the mosques, so slip-on shoes are very convenient.
Q: Is there a lot of walking involved on this tour?
A: The walking is relatively easy and mostly on paved pedestrian lanes, especially within Coptic Cairo and the Citadel. However, there are some steps at the mosques and churches. Because this is a private tour, your guide will walk at your preferred pace and ensure there are plenty of opportunities to sit and rest in the shade.

A: Yes A highlight of the Coptic Cairo segment is visiting the Church of Abu Serga. Here, you can descend into the crypt where, according to tradition, Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus sheltered during their flight into Egypt.

Het hele team was hartelijk en attent, zonder enige verkoopdruk. De tijden waren zo gepland dat we vóór de grote groepen bij de sites waren. Twijfel je nog? Gewoon boeken.
